ICH public meetings are organised by ICH Members or Observers across their respective regions. These meetings may be held as ICH-branded regional events or in collaboration with non-profit organisations. In addition, ICH stakeholder engagement events—such as webinars, workshops, and meetings—are conducted to gather early input from industry, patients, and regulators on draft ICH Guidelines.
Event Overview
The webinar was held on 6 February 2026 as part of ICH’s stakeholder engagement activities.
It focused on presenting and discussing the draft ICH E22 Guideline, which addressed general considerations for patient preference studies used to inform drug development and regulatory submissions. The guideline aims to harmonise patient preference studies through a globally agreed framework, ensuring consistency and scientific robustness across regions.
Webinar Purpose
The event provided an overview of the draft ICH E22 Guideline and encouraged stakeholder participation to integrate real-world insights and experiences into the guideline’s final development.
Objectives
- Describe the draft ICH E22 Guideline and support early stakeholder engagement
- Encourage feedback during the public consultation period
- Support the future development of training materials related to ICH E22
